NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
Welcome to the Medical Campus of Northern Virginia Community College!
As you begin charting your academic journey, we would like you to include the New Student Orientation (NSO) in your plans. This program will allow you to make the early connections needed to be successful in your college experience at the Medical Education Campus. The faculty and staff of the Medical Education Campus (MEC) are committed to helping you achieve academic success. An integral part of your academic success is to be a “College Survivor.”
The MEC “New Student Orientation” (NSO) will prepare you for the rigors of an allied health or nursing program. The mission of the MEC New Student Orientation is to provide you with the tools needed to have a successful and rewarding student experience. NSO is a comprehensive program to assist you in surviving college and meeting your long term goal of academic success.
The NSO will introduce you to the available resources and information necessary for your college experience. The orientation will include an array of interactive and fact-filled demonstrations. During this program you will also obtain a MEC College Survivor back pack!
