Purpose:
The purpose of the Medical Education Campus Learning Resources Services
is to create an environment conducive to successful life long learning.
Our primary goal is to provide outstanding customer service to students,
faculty, staff, and the community.
- The
Library strives to create and maintain a current, well-balanced collection
of materials in a variety of print, audio-visual and electronic formats.
The physical collection primarily supports the health sciences programs
offered through the campus; however, the Library also provides access
to virtual resources which support general education and other college
curricular areas. Additionally, a consumer health collection is provided
to meet the information needs of the community. Medical Library staff
provide specialized individual research assistance and group instruction
in the identification, use and evaluation of information resources.
- The
Open Computer Lab provides computer software and multimedia support
to individuals and classes in nursing and allied health programs and
instruction in the computer competency skills required for student academic
success.
