SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE/MAIL/ITEMS

The following are letter and parcel-bomb recognition points:

• Foreign mail, air mail, and/or special delivery.
• Restrictive markings, such as “confidential” or “personal”.
• Excessive postage.
• Handwritten or poorly-typed addresses.
• Incorrect titles.
• Titles, but no names.
• Misspellings of common words.
• Oily stains or discolorations.
• No return address.

Unattended bags, packages or other suspicious items.

If your see a suspicious package or item, do not touch it, report it to campus
police at 703-822-6677.
