HAZMAT

Chemical Spill Procedure

All areas at the MEC where hazardous chemicals are used or stored, maintain a current MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheet) for those chemical.

In the event of a small spill (less than 500 ml), please refer to the corresponding MSDS for spill removal and clean-up instructions.

In the event of a large spill (greater than 500 ml) please evacuate the immediate area and call Campus Police at 6-6677.

**NOTE:  It is the policy of the Medical Education Campus by recommendation of the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) that all chemical stored at the MEC will be in containers of equal or less than 500ml
