Metro
The MEC is very accessible by Metro; the Franconia-Springfield
metro station is the closest stop. The Fairfax Connector

By Car
If you are driving to the MEC please plan accordingly:
- From Washington DC:
Take I-395 towards Richmond. Merge onto I-95. Take the
VA-644 E/I S exit towards Franconia Road/ Franconia. Keep
right onto Loisdale Road. Turn left onto Springfield Center
Drive. The MEC will be on your left in approximately 1/4
mile.
- From Woodbridge:
Take the I-95 North ramp toward Washington DC. Merge onto
I-95N. Take the 169 A-B (VA-644) exits towards Franconia
Road/ Franconia. Turn slight right onto Loisdale road.
Turn left onto Springfield Center Drive. The MEC will
 be on your left in approximately 1/4 mile.
- From Western Areas:
Take Rt. 66 East to the Fairfax County Parkway (Rt. 7100) south towards Springfield. The Fairfax County Parkway will turn into the Springfield Parkway. Take the Frontier Drive/Springfield Metro exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn left onto Frontier Drive. Go two stop lights and turn left on Springfield Mall Road. Go two stop lights and turn left on Loisdale Drive. Go approximately one-half mile and turn left on Springfield Center Drive (look for 12 foot tall blue and white sign that says Business Park). Go approximately 1/4 mile and the MEC will be on your left.
Parking Rate
There is a five-level parking
garage adjacent to the Medical Education Campus. Visitors’
parking is located on the first floor, with additional parking on the fifth floor if needed.
Visitors: The cost
to park is $1.00 per hour per car up to $8.00 for the
day. Please pay all parking fees to the cashier upon exiting
the garage.
