Virginia Placement Test
The Virginia Placement Test must be taken at a NOVA Testing Center. The Manassas Campus Testing Center is located in MH-308.

If you are unsure which developmental math class you need to take, please stop by MH-223 or call Micah Poole at 703.530.3517 or Irma White at 703.257.6654. They can help you determine where to start based on your VPT Placement Test Scores or previous developmental math coursework.
MASTER Math Testing Room Rules
- No cell phones at any time. If you have your cell phone out during a quiz or a test it is considered cheating. The consequences may include dismissal from the class and a U in the course.
- No headphones during a quiz or a test. Music must be turned off and headphones removed during testing.
- No scrap paper or paper of your own. All quiz or test work must be done on our designated colored test paper.
- Only white multiplication tables may be used on a test or a quiz. The equations on the back of the yellow multiplication table must be memorized for the quiz or test.
