The Manassas Testing Center administers all NOVA placement tests, Automotive DAT, Ability to Benefit, and computer competency tests. The Center also proctors Extended Learning Institute (ELI) exams, instructor referred make-up exams, and tests from outside agencies and universities.

Testing Center Policies

All students must have a valid photo ID and know their student ID number in order to test.
All ELI students must bring an Exam Pass in order to test.

Computers are available in the Library (MC129), Counseling Center (MH110), and Open Computer Lab (MH211) to look up student ID numbers and print Exam Passes.
Computers are available in the Cafeteria to look up students numbers but do not have printers.
Internet and Printers are not available in the Testing Center.
Cell phone use, food, and drinks are not permitted in the Testing Center.
Please TURN OFF your cell phone before coming inside.

All Tests Must Begin By the Test Cut Off Time Listed Below
There are no exceptions
 

TEST CUT OFF TIMES

  • ESL/ACCUPLACER:  3 hours before closing
  • ENGLISH or MATH PLACEMENT:  2 hours before closing
  • SKILLCHECK &SDV ABLE EXAMS:  2 hours before closing
    • Skillcheck is only administered Monday—Friday
  • ELI EXAMS:  90 minutes (1½ hours) before closing
    • ELI students must have their exam pass filled out with name and student ID# before signing in.
    • ELI students taking multiple exams must return to the front desk and sign-in for each exam separately.
  • MAKE-UP & PROCTORED EXAMS:  90 minutes (1½ hours)  before closing

All tests completed or not are stopped 15 minutes prior to closing
