Students should speak to a Counselor to see if the Computer Competency Test (SkillCheck) is a graduation requirement for their degree program.
The Computer Competency Exam is not an ABLE and cannot be substituted for courses required within a degree program.
The test is a hands-on computerized test covering Windows, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and the Internet (including e-mail). The test includes both objective questions and simulated exercises.
Students wishing to take the SkillCheck exam must arrive at the testing center no later than 2 hours before closing; this exam is not given on Saturdays.
