Distance (online) learning is THE way to learn! Each instructor-led course consists of 12 lessons over six weeks. The lessons are supplemented by interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials, and online discussion areas. For the current semester, all online Ed2Go courses will begin on the following dates.

HOW TO REGISTER
Registration for an Ed2go online class is a two-step process. Until both steps have been completed, the registration process is not complete.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Step 1 - Register with and pay NOVA for the course
    
   • Directly under these instructions is the list of Ed2go courses - scroll through and click on your selection
      
   • You will need a Student ID number to register.
   • New students need to complete a college application. Complete the Application. You will be assigned a Student ID Number when you submit your application. Be sure to make note of this Student ID Number.
      
   • Now register and pay online using our secure shopping cart feature. If you prefer to pay by check, print out this Registration Form and mail to our office.
      
2. Step 2 - Go to Ed2Go's "Online Instruction Center"
    
   • Click Courses link to view Departments
      
   • Click course title within Department to get course description and lesson-by-lesson overview of course, student evaluations & comments
      
   • Choose your course title, click Enroll Now button. (NOTE: You do not pay here - you should have already paid NOVA in Step 1 above). Follow the instructions to enroll. Here you will enter your email address and choose a password that will grant you access to the online classroom.
      
   • When course starts, return to Online Instruction Center and click Classroom link at top of page. To begin your studies, simply log in with the email address and password you selected during enrollment.
      

THE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS NOW COMPLETE.
 

All materials will be made available to you over the Internet. You need a Web browser, and in some instances, additional software. Course requirements are listed in the extended course descriptions available at the Online Instruction Center.

To successfully complete an online course, you must make a score of 70 or higher on the final exam. You will be awarded 2.4 CEU's for each successfully completed course, which equates to 24 hours of instruction. Please note: CEUs are not awarded for leisure courses. In addition, Senior Citizen free tuition does not apply to online courses.
