Makeup Test Drop-off Procedures |
| Fill out a “Makeup Exam Request” form each time you leave makeup tests. You can find the form in the Testing Center or here. We do not accommodate retests or full-class testing. |
| Make sure that your name and the student’s name are included on each individual test. Provide a separate exam for each student. |
| Give your tests to a proctor to initial and file. |
| If you must fax or email an exam, contact your Division Office. Please be sure to include a Makeup Exam Request. Here is the homepage for the Division Offices. |

Test Pick-up Procedures |
| You must drop off or pick up exams during office hours. |
| See a proctor to retrieve your completed exams. |

Types of Testing Provided |
| Exams for students who have missed an exam in class |
| Exams for students with documented disabilities |
| We do NOT proctor retests or whole class testing. |
| We have limited space, so in the rare event that you have more than 6 students taking a particular exam, you will need to assure that they arrive on a staggered schedule. |

Finals Week |
| During Finals Week we do not proctor Instructor makeup exams except for students with documented disability accommodations. |
| To test an ADA student during finals week please fill out an “ADA Special Permission Form.” |

Student Materials Available |
| Paper: lined, blank, graph, scratch |
| Hardware: Computers (XP operating system); VHS, audiocassette, CD, and DVD players; calculators (graphing or basic). (Reston has no VHS players or graphing calculators.) |
| Resource material: dictionary, thesaurus, periodic table |
| Instructors must provide any portable memory devices. Due to the possibility of virus infection, we do not allow students to provide portable memory. |

Instructor Resources |
| Scantron Machine: We do not provide Scantron forms. You are welcome to use the Scantron machine in our office. There are instructions posted beside the machine. Feel free to ask for help if you need it. Item Analysis forms are available for your use. If you have a large number of exams to score, please do them in small batches so that others may have access to the machine. |

| Occasionally there will be variations in our schedule due to holidays or training. These changes will be posted here and in the Testing Center. |
