Welcome to New Student Orientation
Welcome again to the Loudoun Campus of Northern Virginia Community College! We’d like to thank you for taking the time to register for New Student Orientation 2007. New Student Orientation is mandatory for all recent high school students and F-1 International students attending the Loudoun Campus in the Fall. Orientation allows you an opportunity to meet representatives from each campus office including Parking Services, Financial Aid, and Student Services. Before attending Orientation, you must complete the NOVA application and take the English and Math Placement Test. If you have completed those steps, click on the link below to register for an Orientation date.

Tuesday August 21, 2007 Time: 8:00-2:00pm
Schedule of Events
8:00 – 8:30
During Check-In you will receive your information packet and schedule for the day. Your packet will include information that will supplement the information you will receive during the day as well as information that will not be covered.
8:30 – 8:50
Explanation of Resources
8:50 – 9:40
The “Explanation of Resources” session will educate you about the various offices on campus and how they can help you. This includes but is not limited to information concerning financial aid, paying for tuition, and academic advising.
Break Out Groups
9:45 – 12:25
Following the Explanation of Resources session, you will be split into groups. Each group will be assigned a Student Ambassador who will guide you to the remainder of your Orientation sessions.
The Dean’s BBQ
12:30 – 2:00
The Dean’s Barbeque is the closing event of New Student Orientation where students can enjoy food, watch student performances, and meet members of the community. Most importantly, this is an opportunity for you to sign-up for a club, activity, or sport.
