Job Referral Service

Students are encouraged to apply for suitable jobs related to their interests, skills, and qualifications.  Counselors empower students to obtain employment by providing assistance with resume/cover letter writing and the development of interviewing and job searching skills.

The Counseling and Career Center maintains job listings from area employers in both the public and private sector.  The job announcements are placed in the following locations:

• The On-Line Career Center Webboard – the webboard is a web based communication tool which the Counseling and Career Center uses to post employment opportunities. 
   

• www.monsterTRAK.com -- MonsterTRAK is available to NOVA students and is the largest job listing and resume database for college students and alumni.  MonsterTRAK has a wide variety of entry-level, full and part-time, internship, and temporary work job listings as well as resume and interview tips.
