STATISTICS II

Prerequisite is MTH 241 or
equivalent. Continues the study of estimation and hypothesis testing
with emphasis on correlation and regression, analysis of variance,
Chi-squared tests, and nonparametric methods. Lecture 3 hours per week.

Introductory Statistics, 8th Edition, Weiss. 2007.
You should have a Formula/table Card and a CD attached in the book.
A graphing calculator
is required for this course. The strongly preferred models are the TI-83 or 83-plus.
Instruction on these models will be provided. For all other models,
students will have to refer to the users' manual. There are calculator
resources on reserve in the library.
