or MTH 163 or MTH 182 or permission of the division. Covers descriptive
statistics, elementary probability, probability distributions,
estimation, and hypothesis testing. Lecture 3 hours per week. |

Introductory Statistics, 9th Edition, Weiss. 2007
You should have a Formula/table Card and a CD attached in the book.
A graphing calculator is required for this course. The strongly preferred models are the TI-83 or 83-Plus. Instruction on these models will be provided. For all other models, students will have to refer to the users' manual. There are calculator resources on reserve in the library.
