| Covers arithmetic principles
and computations including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents,
measurement, graph interpretation, geometric forms, and applications.
Develops the mathematical proficiency necessary for selected curriculum
entrance. Credits not applicable toward graduation. Lecture 3 hours per
week. NOTE: This course is no longer offered. See here for details on the current developmental math program.

click here Current textbook: Fundamentals of Mathematics, ninth edition, by Van Dyke, Rogers, and Adams The course is taught in a computer classroom. Most class sessions use the math tutorial Math Cue on the computer in addition to class discussion. Tests are also taken on the computer. |
