The Veterinary Technology program is designed for persons who
wish to develop the latest techniques and skills that will prepare them for careers as
veterinary technicians and for positions in animal hospitals, diagnostic laboratories,
research laboratories, institutional or pharmaceutical animal colonies, zoological parks
and as federal or state livestock inspectors. Our program, accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association, awards an associate degree and prepares you for a post-graduate state-board and national exam which would license you to practice as a veterinary technician. The courses in our program offer a liberal amount of practical or "hands-on" experience with large and small animals.
