Materials from other campuses are available via online intercampus loan, a free service, 2-3 day delivery. If you want to physically browse the circulating collection,  the veterinary technology materials are cataloged in the SF section, on the 3rd floor of the library.

Journal Articles (Scholarly & Popular)

If you want to search the World Wide Web by topic, use a  search tool -   Google and the Librarians' Internet Index  are examples of search tools which  index the Web.  Be as specific as you can - type the  name of a particular disease, important key words, or a researcher's name in lower case. Place quotation marks around phrases you would like to find; + or - indicates terms you must have or must not have in your results.  Examples  "hepatic lipidosis" +cat  , +dogs  +diabetes, "vaccination protocol",  "pet food recall", "white muscle disease". Consult Help and use advanced search to achieve the greatest relevance.

Evaluating Websites - use our How to Evaluate Web Resources or The Basics of Using Veterinary Literature-Veterinary Websites on the Internet, Veterinary Medicine Purdue University.
