Saddam Hussein Captured

Saddam Hussein was apprehended in the town of al-Dawr, near Tikrit, on a small farm in a makeshift well 6 feet underground on December 14, 2003.  Details of the operation, code named "Red Dawn", began with nearly 600 soldiers searching through the town of Dawr early Saturday morning.  The arrest took place without a struggle and without a shot being fired.

Saddam will be interrogated by the CIA, and President Bush is calling for a public trial.
