Identity Theft

    Identity theft is when someone steals your personal information, such as a social security number, credit card number, or bank number, and uses it themselves  for financial gain.  Over 9 million people reported being victim to this offense last year alone. It is a federal crime. How can your protect yourself from having it happen?  What can you do if it does happen? Where do you report it?
