Depression

    Depression can strike anyone at anytime.  Actress, Mariette Hartley; Tom Johnson, former CNN CEO; former First Lady Barbara Bush, and Tipper Gore, have all battled depression.  Depression is a biological illness with a strong genetic component.  The good news is it's very treatable. However, many people don't seek treatment.  If afflicts nearly 19 million Americans each year, with most being women. Depression can be broken down into the following categories:  bipolar, clinical, holiday depression, low level, and seasonal.
