Hot topics is a webliography of current events that are "in the news", or ongoing concerns about issues such as environment, public safety, and health findings.  A list of current  issues can be found in the CQ Researcher (on-campus only) .  Opposing Viewpoints includes many topics that are current as well as ongoing discussion. Issues & Controversies is another good source for topics.
