Policing the Borders

Immigration is an extremely divisive concern in the United States.  There are thought to be nearly 11.5 million illegal immigrants in the United States, and every year roughly 500,000 to a million more come into the country, frequently through the 2000 mile southern border with Mexico.  Immigration policy has been a heated debate both in congress and in many states across the country. Thousands rally for support for immigration rights as well as counter-demonstrators.  Many American citizens feel that immigrants are welcome, but that they should come here legally.
