Applied Music Faculty: Piano

Barbara Bulger Verdile offers private piano lessons. Ms. Verdile received a Master's degree in Piano and Flute Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. As a music educator, Ms. Verdile helped form the Shenandoah Valley Chapter of the National Federation of Music Clubs where she serves as its Secretary. In addition, Ms. Verdile was the founding director of the Community Arts Program at Shenandoah University and a former faculty member at the Shenandoah Conservatory.

Ms. Verdile is a well-known organizer and contributor to the musical performing arts throughout Northern Virginia.

Ms. Verdile is the choir director/organist at the Cunningham Chapel Parish Episcopal Church in Millwood, Virginia, and teaches piano and flute in her private studio. Ms. Verdile is a performing member of the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra and has performed as a soprano with Voce, a chamber chorus based in Reston, Virginia, as well as a soloist locally on the Neale Concert and Music in the Valley Concert series. Ms. Verdile has served on the boards of the Great Falls Concert Series and the Loudoun Symphony, and is currently a member of its Artistic Committee.
