Room Equipment Lists

Our office at the Loudoun campus is staffed Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. When classes are in session a student hire will generally be available Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Our objective is to support the needs of all faculty, staff and students with multimedia requirements and presentation needs. If you ever need help or instruction in setting up and/or using any classroom equipment, please feel free to give us a call.  We’re also happy to arrange advanced training sessions for those of you that are not familiar with the newer equipment.

All of the standard classrooms around the campus have been upgraded with a Computer and Data / Video projector. Attached is a list of equipment available in each room. The computer and VCR are stored in a cabinet at the front of the room. You can obtain keys for these cabinets in your division office. In the case of an emergency, Campus Police have access to these cabinets or you can stop by the Audio Visual Services office in LC-245. There is a set of directions taped  to the inside of the cabinet to instruct you how to use the equipment.  Please remember to properly shut down all the equipment and lock the cabinets after each usage.

Off Site Classes at ODU and Marymount:

There is equipment available in rooms we are using at Old Dominion University and Marymount University. Both of these locations have a staff that is willing to work with you in order to make your classroom time as productive as possible. You can find contact information with the list of equipment. Take a moment to go over any comments that are posted with this information. The more informed you are about what to expect at these locations, the more smoothly your classes will go. Keep in mind that we are guests at these facilities and that we want to make their experience with us as positive as possible. If you have problems at these locations, please contact IT Services and your Division office and let us help work out a solution to your needs.

If you are teaching at one of these sites and need additional equipment, you will need to check it out through Audio Visual Services in Room LC-245 on the Loudoun Campus.

Please don’t hesitate to call me if you have any questions or comments. My contact information is at the top of the page. If you need an immediate response please email IT Services at: loitm@nvcc.edu
