"Cycles" Photographs, Drawings, Paintings

"Cycles" will be my show for the completion of my Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies (with a concentration in Photography and Painting) Virginia Commonwealth University. I graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam with a BA in Art Studio (Photography) and Art Education in 1994. I moved to Virginia after getting hired to teach elementary art in Loudoun County, and have been teaching ever since. I enrolled in my degree program with the thought of concentrating in Painting and Ceramics, but later found that I was longing to get back into Photography. When I returned to photography, after experiencing other art forms, I found that my focus had changed completely. I began to explore ways of creating a photograph, instead of simply taking a photograph. This show will be a representation of my artistic cycle from photography to drawing and painting to photography.
