Print, Copy, Scan, Wifi - Libraries

Fastprint is NOVA’s print, copy and scan service for students. It is provided, maintained and managed by the NOVACard Office. Questions and concerns about these services should be directed to novacard@nvcc.edu or 703.323.3854.

How to Print, Copy, Scan

In order to print, copy or scan, students need to have a NOVACard with money loaded on it. You can get a NOVACard and add money to it using cash, a debit card or a credit card at any campus Business Office. You can also add money to your NOVACard using cash at any NOVACard deposit machine.

If you are not a student, you can purchase a Guest Card for $1.00 and then add money to it in order to print, copy or scan. You can purchase a Guest Card and add money to it using cash at any NOVACard deposit machine. You can also add money to your Guest Card using cash, a debit card, or a credit card at any campus Business Office.

How to connect to the NOVAWifi network:

  1. From the list of wireless networks on your computer, click on NOVAWifi.
  2. You will be prompted to enter your username and password.
  3. In the username field, enter “directory\” (without the quotes) followed by your MyNOVA username. It should look like this: directory\MyNOVA username
  4. In the password field, enter your MyNOVA password.
  5. Click on Connect.

How to connect to the Directory network:

  1. From the list of wireless networks on your computer, click on Directory.
  2. You will be prompted to enter your username and password.
  3. In the username field, enter your MyNOVA username.
  4. In the password field, enter your MyNOVA password.
  5. Click on Connect.
