The state requires that all state employees participate in IT security awareness training every year. This training site will provide you with valuable information about best practices, policies, and procedures for ensuring secure information systems at NOVA, so you can enjoy a safe computing environment.

Get Started

  1. View the Virginia Information Technology Agency's (VITA) YouTube video titled "The Duhs of Security."

  3. Click the IT Security Questionnaire button below and complete the Questionnaire

  4. After you have complete the Questionnaire, click the Security Awareness Agreement Form link found at the bottom of the page; do the following:

Completing and submitting the online IT Security Awareness Questionnaire and IT Security Awareness Agreement Form document that you have read and understood the information provided on this site. The information is kept in the online database.

Remember that it is your responsibility to review this training site and complete the IT Security Awareness Questionnaire and IT Security Awareness Agreement once every year to ensure that the NOVA community works in a safe computing environment.
