It’s my first time as a student, where do I go to enroll?

myNOVA is the student login portal. You can find the login button on NOVA's website. Additional information about myNOVA can be found here. Once you log in you will have access to your Student Information System, student email, Blackboard, and library resources. The Student Information System will allow you to enroll in courses.

How do I download Office 365?

A free version of the Office suite is available to active students who are currently taking courses. Navigate to the NOVA Office 365 site. Login with your full VCCS email address and myNOVA/Blackboard password. Once logged in you will have the option to download and install the office suite.

I brought my own laptop to campus. How can I log in to the wireless?

The student wireless network is called ‘Directory’. First connect to the wifi network like you would any other. You should be propted to login. You should use your MyNova username and password to login. See the student wireless website for additional information.

I need to log in to an FTP/webfolder for my course, how can I do that?

Webfolders are created for all students so that they may upload content and create a website. Please click here for details on how to log in and add content. You will log in to this service using your NVSTU username and password. If you haven’t logged in to this yet you may not have this information as it’s a different username than your MyNova account. Please call the IT Helpdesk at 703.426.4141 to get your username and a password reset.
