The Instructional and Student Services Committee (ISSC) receives proposals from the College Senate, Campus Councils, Working Groups, and College community and makes recommendations pertaining to the quality of education in the College, student life and the welfare of the student body of the College. It has the responsibility to study, gather information, conduct discussions and survey the intellectual and/or student environment, academic standards and teaching-learning conditions in the College.
Membership
The elected faculty and classified staff members hold office for two years. Student members hold office for a term of one year. The committee consists of the following members:
- Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Services, Ex-Officio Executive Secretary (CS)
- Associate Vice President for Student Services and Enrollment Management
- 12 Teaching Faculty, at least two from each campus and at most three from each campus
- 2 Counselors
- 6 Administrative Faculty, at least one from each campus, to include one provost and one dean of students
- 3 Classified Staff, not from the same campus
- 2 Teaching Assistants
- 6 Students, one from each campus
- 1 Member from a Learning Resource Services
- 1 Member from the Extended Learning Institute
