Purpose
The Human Resource Development Classified Staff Subcommittee will explore, identify and develop educational and self enrichment opportunities within the College and community; will promote awareness of these opportunities within the College and community; will promote awareness of these opportunities and services to the classified staff of Northern Virginia Community College; and will encourage and support participation.

The Subcommittee is also dedicated to the exploration of avenues of communication for all College classified staff, and with that goal in mind, coordinates Cross Campus Day. Recommendations of the subcommittee will be presented to the Human Resource Development Committee for approval or referral.

The Subcommittee will appoint special task forces or focus groups as needed to develop or study specific programs, events, or activities in more detail and to represent major employee groups within the category of classified employees.
