Virginia (Ginger) Primus
Welcome! I am Assistant Dean of the Physical Education Department in the Division of Science, Technology & Business. During the 37 years that I have been teaching physical education at NOVA, I have taught the required fitness and wellness class and a wide variety of activity classes. These include aerobic dance, step aerobics, exercise and nutrition, golf, bowling, downhill skiing and swimming. I enjoy introducing new activities to beginning students, as well as challenging advanced students to reach higher skill levels. My goal is to have all the students attain enough proficiency in and enjoyment from exercise and/or activity that they will want to continue it for the rest of their lives.
