The (Pleasant) Parts of Speech Page No big deal! This is just an (ugh) vocabulary lesson--as if you didn't have enough of those already! What this vocabulary lesson includes are the names of various kinds of words we use in English. Each part of English has a name. Understanding the meanings of these words, can help in communicating with teachers: You: Yo! Teacher guy! Waddaya mean "reflexive pronoun?" Huh? Teacher guy: I am so glad you asked, dear student.
