Mid-Atlantic Association of Teachers of Japanese (MAATAJ) is a non-profit organization that provides advocacy and support for its members, promotes and enhances the teaching and learning of Japanese language, culture, and literature, and maintains affiliation with Foreign Language Association of Virginia (FLAVA ) and National Council of Japanese Language Teachers (NCJLT).
