DRAWING 122 ADD: Anatomy by Foster and Gray’s Anatomy
COURSE OBJECTIVES: To learn to see as an artist sees and to respond to what you see by draw-
descriptively and expressively, using a variety of drawing tools.
Drawings in class will be based on the still life, nature, interior and exterior spaces and the human figure. We will work in both black and white and color media.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
1. REGULAR ATTENDANCE. You must be present to learn! I will take roll for each
class. Three absences will be allowed. More than three absences will affect
your
grade (as well as your ability to
draw). 3
Tardies will count as 1 absence. .
2. A PORTFOLIO
of class work will be due at the mid-term and at the end of the semester. Only
work done in class
will be accepted.
3. SKETCH
DRAWING of 48- 3”x3” drawings on 18” x 24”
paper-1/2 due at mid term and 1/2 at
final.
4. Some HOME
ASSIGNMENTS, a CLASS FIELD
TRIP to a museum in D.C. and a PAPER
about the trip.
