Blizzards of 2010

On Friday Febraury 5, 2010 it snowed about 2 feet over the Washington DC metropolitan area.  On February 9 it snowed another foot on top of that.  The power was out at my apartment for 62 hours from Friday at 10:30 PM until Monday at 12:30 PM.

You can click on a picture to make it bigger.

Brandon's Scooter

What a mess!

The path I shoveled to the street after the first storm.  Notice the fallen tree.

The path I shoveled is gone after the second storm!

This is before the first storm.  Note that there was still snow on the ground from prior storms.

This snowman was taller than me

DC does not plow the streets

DC still does not plow the street

Does DC even have any plows?  At least they have electricity.
