Insects live in diverse
habitats. Most insects are herbivores, some are parasites,
carnivores, and others live on the decayed material. The body of an insect consists of three segments, the head, thorax, and the abdomen. Insects also have three pairs of legs unlike arachnids (four pairs of leg). Most insects have two pairs of wings attached to the thorax, but some have one pair or no wings at all. |
