Inflation, Unemployment and Consumer Price Index Bureau of Labor Statistics There are two types of productivity statistics (labor productivity and multifactor productivity) published here as well. Most of the time in the media you hear about labor productivity. Under "Productivity" on the front page of BLS, click on "Productivity and Costs" and you can see the boxes on the right - one lays down numbers on productivity and the other gives answers to some frequestly asked questions. Click on "Industry Productivity and Costs" to get some figures of different industries over time.
