CLASSES OF LEAVES
Simple Leaves - one blade per petiole (or, if sessile, just one blade).
Found in Equisetum, a few ferns, all conifers, Ginkgo, and many angiosperms.
When small, they are efficient and structurally sound.
Become prone to physical damage when large.
