Biography
|
Russ
Carter is an Assistant Professor at Northern Virginia Community College
(NVCC), in the Administration of Justice department; he also teaches criminal
justice and sociology at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), and George
Mason University (GMU). Russ is an international traveler and has traveled
extensively, conducting protective services for high-ranking domestic and
foreign government dignitaries such as the Secretary of Defense and the
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. As a requirement for this profession,
he had to be impeccably dressed, making sure he wore the appropriate
clothing, and proper grooming. During his travels he had to mingle with
dignitaries thus he acquired taste in grooming, mannerism, etiquette,
protocol, and diplomacy. Russ acquired dressing and grooming tips from his
European and Latin American travels. As a Special Investigator for the
Federal Bureau of Investigation, he continues to dress exquisitely, as he
mingles with high ranking members of the government and private sector. Russ
keeps very busy in the community by coaching girls’ soccer, and volunteering
as an election officer during local, state and general elections. Russ is
currently enrolled in a Doctoral program at GMU, where he plans to complete
the requirements for his Doctorate in 2005.
