Paintshop Pro 5 toolbar orientation
These are the parts of the PSP 5 toolbar we'll be using in this workshop. We'll also be using the text menus View, Images, Colors, Layers, and Selections.
Some less obvious but crucial commands you'll want to remember:
Ctrl-D for "Select None" - if you do an operation and nothing happens, hit Ctrl-D - it's easy to have accidentally selected, or focused the computer's attention, on a part of your image you are not currently using.
Ctrl-Z to undo - PSP supports multiple undos, so if you decide 10 steps later that you took a wrong turn, you can undo the previous steps one at a time.
View menu, "Toolbars" - If you lose sight of a toolbar, you may have accidentally closed it. Recover it through this command.
Use the "Edit" menu to paste - not Ctrl-V. There are 5 types of paste available; you'll use different ones at different times..
