Browser terms
1. File menu - Used for printing and opening additional web browers2. Bookmarks - Under this menu you can store and retrieve bookmarks
3. Minimize, maximize, and close buttons - Control size of document window
4. Back - returns to previous page
5. Forward - this works only if you have gone back a page (or more).
6. Location field - You must click inside this field before you can type addresses into it
7. Clickable graphics - Many pictures are also links. The mouse pointer will change to a hand when passed over them
8. Text box - You must click inside this field before you can type search terms, then..
9. Search button - then you click this button to run your search
10. Hyperlinks - Any underlined words are active links to other pages. Click on them.
11. Security indicator - Most of the time this key will remain broken. If you are about to buy something, though, it should be whole.
12. Status bar - Different messages here tell you what the computer is doing -contacting a host, waiting for a reply, loading a page, or done (in this picture, the page is done)
13. Task bar - This shows what other programs are open. Click on a tab to switch to that program.
