Introduction

Table coding is the backbone of current web page design. Although it will eventually be replaced by style sheets, this will happen in the indeterminate future, and the web is all about now.

These pages will present seven attributes of table coding that advanced page designers need to be familiar with. After reviewing the pages and competing the exercises, the user should be able to write page code that gives pleasing, consistent results in any browser.

Assumptions

  • you are an experienced WWW user
  • you have written at least some of your own web pages
  • I can give advice

A few considerations in any class:

  • People learn in different ways and at different speeds - what works best for you may be worst for your neighbor
  • There are multiple ways to do anything
  • I don't know everything
  • People develop personal relationships with technology
