Exercise: Make a simple home page in AOLPress

Enough already - let's get going and make yourself a home page.

  1. Start AOLPress
  2. Ctrl-N (for new page)
  3. Save this page to your disk as test2.htm
  4. You DID save the empty, new page, right?  Failing to save from the start causes a lot of problems later on.

Start typing.  AOLPress, like most other visual editors,. is pretty similar to a word processor.  You type and adjust formatting either while or after you type.  Try to use each of the technical terms in the left column below.

Technical term
Content
A heading (Format menu in AOLPress)

A paragraph break (Enter in AOLPress)
