Welcome!

This class is designed to introduce new users to the Internet and to help experienced users become better users.  In it, learners will gain a general understanding of the history and technologies of the Internet.  They will consider what is available, and what probably is, and probably will be available, as well as what is not and probably won't be available.  They will learn how to use a browser and techniques for searching.  Finally they will end with a sense of what they can do next to continue learning about this new and exciting medium.
