Authorware information
1. Authorware overview - This piece, an Authorware program exported in Shockwave, provides a general overview of basic display, animation, and interaction techniques. It is intended to generally show users how Authorware works; it is not a step-by-step tutorial. It requires Shockwave for Authorware. Users with Authorware 3.5 or higher may find it more useful to save the source code to disk and open and run it as an Authorware file.Get shockwave for AuthorwareDownload and save source code for above (Authorware 3.5 Academic Win file)
2. A partial mockup of a web site for the Department of Defense - school project using Shockwave for Authorware (requires Shockwave for Authorware plug-in)
2. Some needs for an Authorware project, with code examples - A colleague of mine, Katherine Burton, specified 6 requirements for an Authorware project she was considering. I developed code examples for 4 of these requirements, and thought the examples worth keeping around for reference. The needs I have code for are
- write user name on screen
- write user name to disk
- open file only within certain dates
- track Total Correct, display onscreen, and write to disk
