Foot note concerning all 3D graphic design courses: Art 278, 279 and 284. For the time being all 3D courses, that I teach, will use Animation Master as their primary software. Jeff Lew, the creator of special effects for the movie "The Matrix" uses Animation Master for its personal portfolio. If you are interested in creating a portfolio dealing with 3D graphics and animation, quickly, Animation Master will be your best choice. This will not be possible with Maya ( Maya currently being the most popular 3D program on the market). Maya learning curve is much steeper, therefore you will not be able to do the same amount of work as easily and quickly. Keep in mind that the 3D industry is looking for talent and not Maya software operators. Talent is showcased by an impressive portfolio.
