I retired from full time teaching in 2004, after teaching political science for 40 years.
Since that time, I have been teaching PLS 135, American National Politics and PLS 211, U. S. Government at the Extended Learning Institute, the distant learning campus.
I use my cell phone for online office hours. Voice mail is always there when I am not available. Call me at (443) 783-2269, and visit with me.
I use "blackboard," a course management system, which helps me teach and manage my courses.
I majored in Political Science and received my BA and MA from the University of Connecticut. I received additional graduate training (60 credits) at Catholic University in political science.
I came to NVCC from New York City in September, 1965. I had previously worked for a Congressman who was defeated in his reelection attempt. So to continue my love for politics, I decided to teach political science and found a teaching position at NVCC.
Periodically, I teach PLS 120, Introduction to Political Science on the Annadale Campus. For details see syllabus link above.
Recently, I was elected to my town Council in Ocean View, Delaware for three year term. Not only do I bring academica experience to the classroom, I also bring practical political experience to the classroom.
My recreational pursuits are playing bridge and skiing.
A new state wide attendance policy has been enacted by the State Board. You must start the course by your refund date or be dropped without notice.
