This week your work will focus on delivering your persuasive speech and assessing the success of this effort.

Key topics for the week include:

· Interacting with your audience during a talk;
· Giving and receiving feedback;
· Receiving Exam #2; and
· Evaluating your talk based upon your experience and those of your audience.

What to do:

· Attend class and deliver your talk. Be sure to bring your videotape;
· Following the talk, review the feedback you receive as well as the tape; and
· Begin to work on your speech critique and Exam #2.

Consider This

What were the strengths of your persuasive speech?

What areas could use further improvement?

Assess your delivery skills, the content, and the organization of your talk.
