This week your work will focus on celebrating your public speaking knowledge and competencies.
1.
Sign on
to Blackboard and complete two options for Unit Twelve on the discussion board;
2. Watch videotape #12: Developing Your Voice;
3. Submit
your
speech critique;and
4. Evaluate the course.
Come to the awards banquet and be prepared to present a short special occasion address. If you select to be an emcee, a coordinator, or a special guest, you will not be expected to present an award to a classmate. Otherwise, you will be expected to present two awards. Everyone should be prepared to make an impromptu acceptance speech. These exercises will contribute toward your participation grade.
