Directions to the Extended Learning Institute

The Extended Learning Institute offices are located at 8000 Forbes Place in Springfield, Virginia. It is conveniently located just off the Capital Beltway, I-495, at the Braddock Road Exit, Number 54A.

We will meet in the large conference room of this building for our class sessions. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for our 7-10 p.m. class sessions.

ELI is situated behind the Ravensworth Shopping Center. There is a Safeway and Kilroy's Restaurant at the center. Continue on Port Royal Road to the first right-hand turn, Forbes Place. Continue to the end of the road where you will find the parking lot. Parking is free.

From Braddock Road East: Travel from Alexandria/Annandale to the 495 beltway. Get into the left-hand lane. Turn left unto Port Royal Road. Ravensworth Shopping Center will be on your left. Turn right at the first intersection, onto Forbes Place. Continue to the end of the road and park in the lot. ELI will be at this corner, 8000 Forbes Place.

From Braddock Road West: Travel from Fairfax/Burke/Kings Park to the intersection just before the 495 intersection. This is one block east of the Wakefield Park (at Braddock and Queensbury). Turn right onto Port Royal Road. You will see the Ravensworth Shopping Center on your right. Take the next right, Forbes Place to the end of the road. Park in the parking lot at 8000 Forbes Place. se note that the mailing address is not theme

Please remember that business casual is the dress for these class meetings. Therefore shorts, tee-shirts, jeans, sweatshirts, tennis shoes, flip flops, and open-toed shoes are discouraged. You want to dress in such as a way as to convey respect for yourself and honor to your speaking purpose.
